Frequently asked questions
How long until my piercings heals
Different piercings require varying healing times, and it's essential to follow your piercer's guidance on when it's safe to downsize or change your jewelry. Generally, cartilage piercings, including nostrils, can take between 4 to 9 months to fully heal, while other types of piercings may heal in 3 to 6 months. Although you might be tempted to change your jewelry sooner, most piercers recommend waiting about 6 to 8 weeks before considering a downsizing, provided you’ve taken adequate care of the piercing and faced no complications during the healing process. It's advisable to return to the shop for your first jewelry change, as your piercing is not completely healed at this stage. Proper aftercare is crucial to ensure a smooth healing experience and to avoid any issues that might arise during the process.
Can you pierce with my jewelry?
At our shop, we prioritize your safety and comfort when it comes to body piercings. Unfortunately, we can only offer piercings with jewelry that we carry in-store. This ensures that we know exactly what materials are being used, as we guarantee that all our jewelry is sterile. Additionally, it's important to note that our jewelry is not one size fits all; we understand that each individual may require custom sizing for the perfect fit. Our knowledgeable staff is here to assist you in selecting the right piece, ensuring your piercing experience is both enjoyable and safe.
How much does a tattoo cost?
The level of detail involved in the design often plays a crucial role; intricate, detailed tattoos typically demand more time and skill, resulting in higher costs. Additionally, the size of the tattoo is a key determinant—larger tattoos generally require more ink and a more extended session, which can inflate the price. Finally, the location of the tattoo on the body can also influence pricing, as some areas may be more challenging to work on or require specialized techniques. Therefore, when planning for a tattoo, it’s wise to consult with your tattoo artist to get a comprehensive understanding of how these elements will affect the overall cost.
How can i prepare for my tattoo or piercing appointment?
To ensure a successful day, begin by getting a good night's sleep, as rest is essential for both mental and physical well-being. Start your morning with a well-balanced, nutritional breakfast to fuel your body and mind. Staying hydrated throughout the day is crucial, so be sure to drink plenty of water. It’s also a good idea to bring a snack to keep your energy levels up. If you can, bring a friend along for support; having someone by your side can ease nervousness. Don’t forget to make any necessary lifestyle adjustments and abstain from certain activities to prioritize your healing.
